The first goals for our district are clear:

1) Oppose ALL school closures.

2) Implement programs to retain existing students and attract new ones.

• Support magnet and charter schools.
• Create home-based school programs.
• Expand opportunities for all students.

3) Provide top-notch financial management.

• Require competitive bids on all contracts, including technology.
• Actively seek new sources of income.

4) Improve communications with ALL parents.

• Require “opt-in” and parent notification where needed.
• Support parents personally when the “system” does not.
